Why We Need Donations

RCMPI is dedicated to producing shows in Guelph and being part of the burgeoning arts community in this city. Working with well over 100 volunteers each year, RCMPI has been able to produce some award winning shows. Alongside the on-stage actors there are lots of opportunities for involvement: from set building to programme design; from costumes to advertising and from make up to stage crew. All these talented people donate about 20,000 hours of their time each year towards RCMPI shows.

Even with this colossal volunteer effort, show ticket sales cover only about 70% of the costs of mounting the shows. The rest of the money required comes through memberships, fundraising events, corporate sponsorships and donations from the public.
